Dear BETA, I hope you are reading about where the hell Jason ran off too. Also, I hope that whatever took him away doesn't totally piss me off.LOL
I also hope that Elizabeth can hold on and not lose hope in Jason. I hope you are nearing the end of your reading so this can be the first thing I see tomorrow. Pretty please with sugar, honey, a cherry on top and a bag o nuts to boot. Oh boots....Jason Morgan the Pirate....*sigh* |

WOW ... I just read Chapter 18...
I really hope Elizabeth tells Jason that she is pregnant with his child... moreover, I'd like to know why Jason disappeared without even saying goodbye!! I am hoping your next update will be a lot sooner... I am just so hooked on this story. And I really hope we get to see some family moments between the two. Please Please update soon... |

Ok, you've got me! I was so frustrated with how Jason could have dismissed Elizabeth without a word or a note. But, his reaction to seeing her makes me
think he expected someone to deliver a message to her. He was completely happy to see her and didn't seem to have any guilt at abandoning her. And, he
seemed genuinely shocked at her anger. I can only assume there is someone that wanted to keep them apart. Is it possible that Helena intercepted his
messenger? Or, someone had told Audrey that Jason was unworthy of Elizabeth and she kept them apart?
Anyway, I'm glad she's stuck on the ship with Jason. It will likely take a while for her to let her defenses down with Jason. But, eventually, they'll have to tell each other everything and then.... In the mean time, I hope she enjoys life on the ship, she'll need to get used to it! Thanks for the update! |

Yay an update!!! I just love this. So glad he was happy to see her...course then again, he was sad when he left her so why wouldn't he be happy? So glad
you have her stuck on the ship. Can't wait for more

OM-frickin God.
I was trying not to read this until it was finished but I couldn't hold out. This is a great story Rebecca and I am with everybody else when I say we need more now.... In a way I regret reading it because now i am starving and know that I have to wait weeks for an update is causing a great ache in me, Yes pain, I feel pain for not knowing what the heck comes next. Oh boy, I guess I will breath until then.... Again thanks you for another fabulous fabulous fabulous fic I am so giddy with anticipation

This is a good story but it takes way to long for updates that I have forgotten all that has happened already. You are a talented writer but momentum gets
lost if the story doesn't get updated in a timely manner. So Good Luck to you and thanks but I have to move on.

OK, I have held off reading this as long as I could and you have just become my favorite Victorian Era writer. Even better than Huma!

 you!) What's better than Jason
the Enforcer turned Mob King Pin? Jason the Pirate! Arrrrghhh!
I hope she tries to hide her expectant state and that Jason is the typical male and makes an ass of himself. Then to show how strong she is, she convinces him that she doesn't need him, she is going to India to have her own life's adventure. And just when he is at his lowest, he needs to get kicked in the teeth with the knowledge that she is carrying his child. Really stick it to him good! But what will happen when everyone finds out that she is missing? Who will interfere? I really love how strong and independent Lizzie is. Jason is so used to damsels just falling in his lap. Let him beg for our heroine's affections. Please update soon. I can't wait to see where you go with this one. |

useless comments like that.)
We TRUE fans know that you were on vacation and have a life and all. But I would love to see an update of this soon. You surprised me with The Wild Card...I had not even started stalking you yet. But now, with this story....let the stalking begin !!!!!! |

Thank you Alison, but I have to admit that Jackfan has legitimate points. I do update slowly and the story
does lose momentum. It's something I apologize for repeatedly.
Unfortunately, as much as I'd love to, I can't spend my days writing fan fic. Too much real life going on (as I'm sure is true of us all). My main writing time is that hour or so between the time my kids go to bed and when I get too tired to think. Often I'm too tired to think even before my kids go to bed. lol... so yeah, I'm slow. Apologies and huge thank you's to everyone for your patience. I guess should admit to another reason I'm so slow. Since I do only post roughly once a month, I want to make sure the chapters are not horrific when I do post them. So I spend a little extra time editing to try to make sure that the story is the best that I can make it. I'd hate to have everyone waiting and put out a chapter of schlock. Ah well. All I can do is my best. Which may or may not be good enough, but it's all I can do. 
Jackfan, I do apologize and you are more than welcome to come back when the story is finished and read it from the beginning straight through to the end. |

I so love this fic! Dillon and Johnny trying to coax Elizabeth out of Jason's quarters was hilarious. And her hitting Johnny with the boot.
